Eye Lift, Eye lid surgeryBLEPHAROPLASTY (EYE LID SURGERY)Eyelid Surgery that makes you Look Younger and More AlertYour eyes tell a lot about you, and open eyes suggest alertness and interest.Half-closed baggy eyes and drooping eyelids make you look old and dull, and eyelid surgery can add years to your life and make you seem a much more interesting person. When you reach a certain age, which for some can be in their 30s and for others later, your eyes begin to develop bags underneath them, and your upper eyelids can become puffy. That's when you begin to age, and with it can come crow's feet around the sides of your eyes and an overall aging look to your entire face - all because of your eyes! Eye bags are particularly noticeable, caused generally by an excess of fat and skin, although your upper eyelids can also take on a puffy appearance for the same reason. This tends to come on gradually and you don't really notice it until you compare photographs of yourself now and then, or a friend or relative that hasn't seen you for some time makes a comment. Basically, you take on an aged appearance, you look tired and uninterested in anything being said to you and you basically look old - that's all that can be said really! Eyelid surgery, correctly known as blepharoplasty, is a cosmetic surgery procedure that can correct these conditions by removing excess loose skin, fat and muscle tissue. Your eyes are returned to you with no loss of function, either of your sight or of the action of your eyelids. However, when you look in a mirror once the bandages are removed you will be absolutely amazed. You will be seeing yourself as you were many years ago, with bright open eyes, crow's feet stretched out and looking 20 or 30 years younger. Blepharoplasty can be carried out on your lower eyelids, top eyelids or both, according to the nature of your problem. The surgeon will assess your condition first and determine its cause. If due to loose skin and fatty tissue then you are good to go ahead. However, if your eye condition is due to a thyroid problem, and allergy or fluid retention, then you will likely not be allowed the procedure since it will resolve any of these three problems. Otherwise you should be good to go with your eyelid surgery, and get ready to look many years younger!
